Do you have land and would like to
GROW HAZELNUT TREES?
Unlike other nurseries, which offer various types of plants and do not provide assistance to the customer at all stages, we SPECIALISE in Hazelnut trees and are the only nursery that also offers DESIGN and SOIL PREPARATION services using our own staff.
PLANTING A HAZELNUT GROVE: WHAT SHOULD I KNOW?
Establishing and managing a hazelnut grove involves the following
5 STAGES

SOIL ANALYSIS AND EVALUATION
A series of analyses and evaluations will be carried out to verify that the land is suitable for hazelnut production and that the conditions for establishing a hazelnut grove are met.
Chemical-physical analysis of water and soil
Verification of geographic data (altitude and position)
Checking the conformation and type of land
Choice of the variety and the best planting layout

PREPARATION OF THE SOIL FOR THE HAZELNUT GROVE
Correct preparation of the soil for the hazelnut grove ensures optimal conditions for planting, significantly increasing the rooting rate and success of the plantation.
Ploughing with a ripper for a thorough initial preparation
Tilling the first 40 cm of the soil with a subsoiler or plough
Fine tilling of the soil

DESIGN OF THE HAZELNUT GROVE AND CHOICE OF THE PLANTING LAYOUT
During the design stage, we proceed to the choice of the layout and the positioning of the trees according to the slope inclinations of the land.
We guide you in choosing the most suitable planting layout based on the type of soil and the tree variety, to optimise preparation according to the number of trees per hectare

AUTOMATED HAZELNUT PLANTING
A very high-precision process that reduces labour costs and time
Latest generation planting machine (GPS technology)
Fast planting
Mitigation of weather-related risks
(Planting takes place in winter, when the weather is often adverse, causing work to be extended and costs to rise. By being able to compress the preparation period, we limit the risks related to bad weather during the planting stage)

ADVICE AND ASSISTANCE REGARDING THE MANAGEMENT OF HAZELNUT GROVES
