PLOUGH WITH A RIPPER TO FACILITATE DRAINAGE

In order to properly prepare the soil for hazelnut planting, the first step is to make a furrow at least 90–100 cm deep to facilitate water drainage and prevent water stagnation.

Ploughing can be carried out using a ripper (with one or more teeth) or a plough. In the case of ripping, it is advisable to work in two directions, crossing the tracks in order to make the first 40 cm of soil as loose as possible. Cultivation should be carried out in midsummer (July–September).

All the BEAUTY of our Hazel Tree Nursery

We are in Vetralla, in the heart of TUSCIA, an area with OPTIMAL climatic characteristics and soil structure for cultivating Hazel.

The climate is ideal for developing plantations, which is why it is known throughout the world!
