WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
Our nursery is located on Viale della Carrozza, Vetralla, in the province of Viterbo, Italy.

WHAT MAKES YOU SPECIALISTS?
Rather than offering various types of tree, we have focused on hazelnut trees.
This has enabled us to become specialists in the sector.
Through our 50+ years’ experience, we have gained in-depth knowledge of all aspects of production: hazelnut grove preparation, cultivation, processing and sale.

DO YOU ALSO OFFER AFTER-SALES SUPPORT?
Yes. We continue to assist producers and farmers after sales.

WHICH HAZELNUT TREE VARIETIES DO YOU GROW?
We cultivate the following varieties:

• Tonda Gentile Romana
• Tonda di Giffoni
• Nocchione

Our trees are shipped bare-rooted.
We guarantee variety assurance, an extremely high rooting rate, and certified young trees with an EC passport.

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM QUANTITY FOR PLACING AN ORDER?
The minimum quantity per individual order is 25 young trees, which may be of different varieties.

DO YOU ALSO PROVIDE TRANSPORT?
We do not provide transport directly, but we can recommend the best solution for arranging shipping of your trees to your business.

DO YOUR PLANTS COME WITH CERTIFICATION AND AN EC PASSPORT?
Yes. We are a certified nursery, registered and accredited by the Regional Phytosanitary Service (SFR) in accordance with current CAC legislation. Our young plants have a European passport and originate from certified mother plants, RUOP code: IT-12-1017.

WHEN I PURCHASE FROM YOU, CAN I ACCESS EUROPEAN FUNDING?
Yes, our trees are certified in accordance with EU legislation and duly accompanied by an EC passport. When you purchase them, you can benefit from European Structural Funds accessible through the Rural Development Programme (RDP) and Local Action Groups (LAGs).

DO YOU ONLY OFFER SALE OF HAZELNUT TREES?
We do not only offer sales. We oversee all aspects of production°:

• preliminary production (we collect shoots from mother plants);
• cultivation at our nursery;
• sales;
• hazelnut grove installation;
• after-sales support.

CAN YOU GUARANTEE TRACEABILITY OF YOUR TREES?
All our young plants follow a fully traceable process, from collection of shoots from certified mother trees to sale of the young trees, all of which come with an identification number and EEC passport.

ARE YOUR TREES CERTIFIED AS ORGANIC?
If you need organic-certified young hazelnut trees, you can contact our organic partner, Azienda Agricola Sant’Isidoro, who can help you find the best solution.

WHAT IS THE FERRERO ITALIAN HAZELNUT PROJECT?
The Ferrero Hazelnut Company created the Italian Hazelnut Project to promote a quality supply chain in the hazelnut industry. Not all nurseries can join: only those that meet certain productivity and sustainability standards, like ours.
